Day #8 - The Bourne Identity

The first of the best spy franchise in cinema history, The Bourne Identity which is based on Robert Ludlum's epic novel (also named The Bourne Identity), is a brilliant movie.

The story is invigorating, the action scenes are really awesome (not the over-the-top unrealistic action we see in today's movies - The Expendables) and finally location! location!! location!!! The movie felt like a really good trip across Europe!

And finally the cast; Matt Damon brought his A-game on this (as he usually does), and his on-screen chemistry with Franka Potente was sincere and gripping; Clive Owen's role too was really cool; others include Chris Cooper, Julia Stiles, Brian Cox and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (no relation)

I am definitely going to continue with the series ... Movie #9 anyone?

FYI - Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's character spoke a few lines of yoruba which was wrongly interpreted.
