Up
One of the best movies of 2009
Up does not deserve to be called an animated feature because it's so much more than that. It's touching, exciting, adventurous and hilarious; and the story was rendered in depth. Plus a fantastic score.
And the characters? Carl Fredricksen is an interesting individual who, sometimes could be a jerk, became likable and warm, and the talking dogs, who brought with them humor.
The manner in which Carl and Ellie's story was told is an epic moment in cinema; so winning two Academy Awards wasn't really a surprise.
This is definitely one of my favorite movies from Pixar, a Fanstastic cinematic experience.
